Changing the Oiler Belt
Attention!
Youmay leave printer power on while you perform this task, but the printer
should not be printing.
Do this task when you see the following message:
CHANGE
OILER BELT 0793
Note: Youdo not have to replace the oiler belt the first time you see the CHANGE
OILER BELT message. To bypass the message, SELECT the Ready pushbutton
on the main Display TouchScreen. The message reappears each time
end-of-forms is reached or every 4 000 feet of forms thereafter.When 10 000
additional feet of forms have been processed since the message originally
appeared, you must change the oiler belt before you can return the printer to
Ready status.
Youneed the following items when you change the oiler belt:
vNew oiler belt
vPaper towels.
