System Administrator settings
In order to perform special system administrator function s,y ou must log into
the Settings Editoras a sys tem administrator (see ‘User modes’ on page 117).
Note: When you are finished, make certain you log out of the System
administrator mode of the Sett ings Editorto prevent unauthorizeduse of the
Océ TDS600.

▼Make system administrator settingsin the Settings Editor
1Maximize theSettings Editor on the screen.
2Log in as system administrator.
See ‘User modes’ on page 117 for m ore information about logging into the
SettingsEd itor.
3Click on one of the top buttonsto display the desired groupo f settings.
4Select thesetting you want to update in the tree structure.
5Update the setting in the update area, as required.
Note: A few settings, such as the defaultpen settings, are made directly
fromthetreestructurearea.
6Click on the ‘Apply’button.
The new valueis now applied for the setting
7Log out of the System administrator mo de when you are finished updating
settings.
