▼Get the account log file via FTP in a dos box
1Launch an FTP client.
2Enter the ‘ftp’ command.
A DOS box now appears with the FTP prom pt.
3Enter the ‘Open’ command followed by eithe rt he registered name of the
Power Logic Controller or the IP address (for example: 194.2.66.146 )t o
connect to the Controller and press Enter: ‘open 194.2.66.146’.
Note: Insteadofperformingsteps2and3youcouldalsoenter“ftp
host_name” in the FTP client.
The connection with the Controller is now established and a window appears
asking you for a user name.
4Enter your user name ‘anonymo us’, and enter as your password als o
‘anonymous’.
A connection is now set up for the default user ‘anonymous’.
Note: As there isno registered user,you can simply press Enter to initiate
the connection.
5Set thetransmission mode to binary by entering ‘binary’.
6Go to the ‘logging’ directory using the following command: ‘cd loggin g\’.
7Get ‘20001011.csv’ or ‘20001110.txt ’ depending on the file format setting,
(see ‘File format’ on page 201).
8Quit FTP by entering the ‘bye’ command.
