Océ Scan Logic
Océ Scan logic is an option which enables you to sca n a document to a file for
later (re)use. You enable scan to file via a password (see ‘Scan Logic
password’ on page 190).
Youuse scan to file in order t o:
■print documents at a later tim e
■archive documents
■email documents
■reuse the information documents contain in another applica tion
A scan to file is made at the Océ TDS600 scanner. On the scanner operating
panel you can, among other things , choose at which resolution you want to
scan andwhere you want to store your file.
The result of the scan to file can be store d on the controller (temporary store)
or directedforward towards a networkdestination via Window’sNetwork
Neighbourhood.
Océ ViewStation LT, linked to the Océ Scan Manag er application, enables you
to automatically or manually v iew the scanned documents afterwards.

Scan clicks

The Océ TDS600 counts the area of media that you sca nned during scan to file
operations. Youview the scan c lick count in the bottom right corner of the Océ
Scan Manager (see figure 31 on page 67).
The scan click count is measured in s quare feet or square meters. You set the
measurement unit in the Océ S ettings Editor (see chapter , ‘Measureme nt’ on
page 88).
