Note: Youcan al so select the input mode from the ‘Custom’ section (if this
settinghas been defined for this).
Specify the zoom factor
Youcan us e the ‘Zoom’ setting to select a zoom factor. If you select
‘Automatic’ with the ‘●’ symbol, the Océ TDS600 Copier will use a zoom
factorthat is needed to obtain a copy without loss of information. This will be
done according to the selected media roll or sheet feeder. After inserting the
original, thezoom factor that is used is indicated by the‘❍’symbol.
If you select the numeric zoom factor with the ‘●’ s ymbol, you can define a
zoom factor yourself between 25% and 400%. Aft er selecting the numeric
zoom factor, the four little triangles will ap pear to the right. Now you can
definea new zoom factor in twodifferent ways:
■By usingthe Arrow buttonson the right of the display(see figure 10 on
page 41). If you press one of the ver tical buttons, the zoom factor will
increaseor decrease with stepsof 0.1%. If you press one of thehorizontal
buttons, the zoom factor will increase or decrease with the steps pr edefined
in the Océ Settings Editor by the keyoperator.
■By using the numeric buttons at the bot tom of the operator panel. You can
specifythe exact zoom factor with0.1% increments.
Forexam ple, if you want to specify a zoom factor of 25.4%, you type 254. If
you want to specify a zoom factor of 254%, you type 2540.
