▼Get files via FTP
1Launch an FTP client.
2Enter the ‘ftp’ command.
A DOS box now appears with the FTP prom pt.
3Enter the ‘Open’ com mand followed by either the registered name of the Océ
Power Logic Controller or the IP address (for example: 194.2.66.146 )t o
connect to the Controller and press Enter: ‘open 194.2.66.146’.
Note: Insteadofperformingsteps2and3youcouldalsoenter“ftp
host_name” in the FTP client.
The connection with the Controller is now established and a window appears
asking you for a user name.
4Enter your user name ‘anonymo us’, and enter as your password als o
‘anonymous’.
A connection is now set up for the default user ‘anonymous’.
Note: As there isno registered user,you can simply press Enter to initiate
the connection.
5Set thetransmission mode to binary by entering ‘binary’.
6Goto the ‘tempstore’ directory using the following command: ‘cdtempstore\’.
7Go to the ‘scan’ directoryif you want to retrieve a file from a destination on
the localhost,
or
go to the ‘unsent’ directoryif you want to retrieve a file from ‘unsent’ folder
on the local host.
8Get the data file (for example: bugatti.tif) via the ‘get’ command:
‘get bugatti.tif’.
9Quit FTP by entering the ‘bye’ command.
