Make settings
1Press one of the Section buttons to activate the desired menu.
Note: Theactivemenuisslightlymoveddownwardstovisuallyseparateit
fromthe other menus. Apart fromthat, a shadow highlightingeffect is used
for extrahighlighting.
2Pressthe Card selection button to selectthe appropriate card. Youcan switch
cards (from bottom to top) by pressing the button again.
Note: Here,too, the active card isvisually separated fromthe other cards
and given a shadow highlight ing effect for extra highlighting.
3Select the desiredfunction values in one of the following ways:
Simple (non-numeric) selection: press the Function button to activate the
desired (non-numeric) value. The selected value i s preceded by a ‘’ symbol.
The ‘Backgroundcompensation’ setting demonstrated in figure27 on
page63 is an example of this.
Long list selection: if you want to select a value from a list of options that can
not be fully displayed on the pan el, you first activate the selection triangles
next to the specified option (the dotted line around th is selection is changed
intoan uninterrupted line and the selection triangles aren o longerdimmed),
whichindicate that there are additional options availableand then select one
of the non-displayed values with the A rrow buttons. The ‘Original type’
settingdemonstrated in figure27 on page 63 is an exampleof this.
Numeric selection: activate the sele ction triangles and select the desir ed
value with the Arrow buttons or with the numeric buttons. The ‘Br ightness’
settingdemonstrated in figure27 on page 63 is an exampleof this.
Alsoa combination of simple selection andnumeric selection is possible, asis
shown in the ‘Cut length’ setting (see figure 28 on page 63).
Note: The Up arrow and Down arrow buttons can b e used to increase or
decrease the active value by 1; th e Left arrow and Right arrow buttons
increase or decrease the active value by 10. Exception to this rul eis th e
selection of zoom values. Here, the Left arrow button can be used to browse
through the predefined reduction steps and the Right arrow button to
browse through the predefined enlargement steps.
