Modes
The Queue Manager has the following modes:
Anonymous user mode
Repro operator mode
Key operator mode
Systemadministrator mode
Service operator
Thesed ifferentmodes are designed to limit access to the specificfunctions to
authorized users only.
The anonymous user mode only offers view access to the queue. In this mode
the available buttons are disabled.
The repro operator, the key operator and the system administrato rmo des allow
youto perform a number of activities on the jobs in the queue, with the help of
the Abort,Delete, Resume and Hold buttons.The service operator mode is
meant for Océ technicians.
Note: Int he Queue Manager and the System Control Panel, the reprooperator,
the keyope rator and the system administrator ha ve the same user rights. In th e
Settings Editor, however,the use r modes offer different rights.
Access The access to the key operator, repro operator, system administrator
modes and serviceoperator is password protected to allow only authorized
personnel to use particular funct ions. Youcan enter these modes by selecting
the Login option from the File menu and by specifying the correct password
whenprompted for it (see ‘Log in’ on page 118).
From the ‘File’ menu, select ‘Close’ to exit the Queue Manager.
Job priority The priority of print and copy jobs in the Queue Manager is
determined by the order in which they are submitted to the Océ TDS600.
However,there is a settingin the SettingsEditor which allows you to givecopy
jobs priorityover print jobs.
