Introduction
Problems can be:
■Original jams.
■Paper jams.
■Problems with the reinforcementunit.
■Problemsthat you can correct if you followthe instructions on the display.
■Otherproblems like Call Service.
When an erroroccurs, the display informs you about
■what the problemis
■whereit has occurred
■how to solve it
Normally the paper moves through the system without problems. On the
graphic display a cover or door indicates in which pa rto f the system the paper
has stopped.
Stickers on some parts of the sys tem indicate which green handles, gre en
knobs, green bars and covers, etc. you have to lift, pre ss or open to remove any
jammed paper.
The display guides you through a sequen ce of steps to correct the problem. If
ajam occurs in more than one location,the display will continue to instructyou
untilall jammed paper has been removed.
If you corrected the error, the display gives instruction you how to continue the
job.
