4Lead a new trailing edge of tape betwee n the rollers and knives.
No reinforcement strips on the output without an error message
Thise rror occurs when there are no reinforcement strips on the out puta lthough
reinforcementis selected. This can happen when the file header(Remote
Control Format or Océ Job Ticket) contains instructions to have no
reinforcement.
If you want to process A4 formats, reinforcement c an be disabled for this
format. Formore inform ation refer to‘Re inforce A4’ on page1 83.

1Put the printer offline by pressing the on line button on the operating panel.
2Open the side door of the reinforc ement unit.
3Check if there are loose reinforcementstrips in the unit with the protection
sheet still on (see situation B in figure 190).
