▼How to clear a jam in the roll compartments
1Open the appropriate roll compart ment.
Note: Only one compartment can be open at a ti me.
2Removeany jammed printing material from the paper path (see figure164)
and, if necessary, pull back the paper and r ewind it.
Note: Occasionally, a jam may occur before the prin ting material has been
cut. In that case, you can cut the material manually by pressing the
appropriategreen load button in the roll compartment.
3Reloadtherollifthesystemasksyoutodoso(see‘Loadrollsofcopy
material’ on page 241).
4Close the roll compartment aga in.
Note: If the roll feed covers are still flashing on the display, re-check the roll
feed section.
