▼Select a language
1Press the ‘On line’ button on the prin ter operating panel to put the printer off
line. Themessage ‘Off line’ is displayed in the statuswindow.
2Press the left selection button to shif t the focus to the Language option.
A shadow effect is used to indicate that the focus is set to this opti on.
3Activate the Language option by pressing the right selection button.
The dotted line around the current sel ection is changed into an uninterrupted
lineand the small selection trianglesnext to the specified languageare no
longer dimmed.
4Use the up/down buttons to switch between the predefined languages.
5The languagespecific elements on the display are immediatelycustomized to
reflect your language choice. Only the indicator for t hel anguage itself, is in
the alternativelanguage.This way you alwaysknow what your alternative
language is.
6Put theprinter on line again by pressingthe on line button. The printer now
usesthe selected language.
