Mail Transport Jam

(continued)

If the jam is in the transport area:

1.Lift main cover.

2.Pull back transport jam release lever until the transport assembly lifts up.

3.Remove the piece of mail.

4.Push the jam release lever back to its original position until it snaps into place.

•If condition persists adjust the thickness adjustment knob for less tension (see procedure in this chapter).
