13Setting Up Scheduled Calls to Pitney Bowes

This section defines how you schedule a date and time when your system automatically connects to Pitney Bowes to check for updates, perform rate or software updates, perform a postal inspection or data capture.

1.To schedule calls to Pitney Bowes, press the Menu key.

2.Select Set Up.

3.Select Updates and Add-Ons.

4.Select View Scheduled Calls to Pitney Bowes. The “Scheduled Calls to Pitney Bowes” screen appears.

5.To see if any updates are available, select Check for Updates. If updates are available, the list of updates are displayed on the screen.

6.To perform or schedule a particular update, select one of the following options:

Software Update Rate Update Inspection Data Capture Confirmation Servc

7.The system prompts you to:

Connect now

Reschedule event

Clear scheduled call

 

8.Select Connect now to connect now and perform the update.

Select Reschedule event to schedule a connection later. The system prompts you to enter the date and the time at which it connects and performs the update.

IMPORTANT

When entering a date, you must use the format: MMDDYY

When entering the time, you must use the format: HHSS

9. To clear scheduled calls, select Clear scheduled call.
