8Adding Postage to a Piece of Mail

If you do not have the correct postage on a piece of mail, you can add more postage directly on a piece of mail or print the corrections on a tape and then apply it to the piece of mail.

How to Add Postage

1.Turn the mail around so that the original meter stamp is on the bottom left corner as shown. Place the mail on the feed deck with the flap facing down.

2.Press Mode key.

3.Select Key In Postage.

4.Enter the additional amount of postage using the number keys and press Enter.

5.Press the Start key to print on an envelope or press the Tape key to print a tape.
