If you need to connect to a phone line not near your machine, you can remove the IntelliLink Control Center.

How to Remove the IntelliLink Control Center and Connect to an Analog Phone Line

1.Turn off the power.

2.Pull the blue release lever at the right of the IntelliLink Control Center towards you.

3.Slide the control center forward to remove it.

4.Take the control center to an analog phone line location.

Connect the line (26 AWG or smaller) to the telephone jack in the back of the control center.

Connect the A/C Adapter (P/N 1C85005) to the back of the control center and plug it into an outlet.

5.Add or check your postage

funds as described in 3 Checking Your Postage By Phone Account Balance in this chapter.

6.When you are done, disconnect the telephone and AC adapter.

7.Reinstall the control center by sliding it into the docking station on top of the mailing system until you hear it click into place.
