Procedure

1Connect the equipment as shown in Figure 4-26.

2Press PRESET, MENU, NUMBER of POINTS, 1601, x1.

3Only for analyzers without Option 006: Press START, 50, k/m.

4Press CAL, CAL KIT & STDS, SELECT CAL KIT and select the appropriate calibration

kit:

•If your analyzer is 50Ω, press CAL KIT: 7mm.

•If your analyzer is 75Ω, press CAL KIT: N 75W.

5Press RETURN, RETURN, CALIBRATE MENU, S11 1-PORT.

6Connect an open to reference test port 1, a s shown in Figure 4-26.

7Press FORWARD: OPEN.
