Procedure Source Harmonics
1Connect the equipment as shown in Figure 6-35.

2Zero and calibrate the power meter. Set the power meter to measure dBm. Set
the power meter calibration factor whenever necessary to compensate for
power sensor frequency response. Refer to the power meter operating and
service manual for more information on how to perform these tasks.
3On the external source, press PRESET, POWER LEVEL, 0, dB(m), CW, 32, MHz.
4Write the power meter reading on the Performance Test Record. It should
read approximately 10 dBm.
5On the analyzer, press PRESET, MENU, CW FREQ, 16, M/µ to set the analyzers
internal source to 16 MHz.
6Press SYSTEM, HARMONIC MEAS, SECOND.
7Press MARKER, MEAS, INPUT PORTS, A. Write the marker 1 reading, which appears
on the analyzer display, in the Input A Value column on the Performance
