Perform this test to verify that the analyzerโ€™s reference channel, input R, is
capable of phase locking to an external CW signal.

1On the external source, press PRESET, CW, 10, MHz/msec, POWER LEVEL, โ€“/โ†, 20,
GHz/dB(m).
2Connect the equipment as shown in Figure 4-2.
