Procedure
1Connect the equipment as shown in Figure 6-5.

3Press MARKER FCTN, MARKER MODE MENU, MKR SEARCH, TRACKING ON, SEARCH:MAX
to locate the maximum value of the R channel input signal.
4Press MENU, POWER, 5, x1.
5Press MENU, CW FREQ, 300, k/m.
6Check the analyzer display for phase lock error messages:
If you do not observe a phase lock error message, write the marker value read-
out (which appears in the analyzer display) in the Performance Test Record.
If you do observe a phase lock message:
aPress MENU, POWER, to increase the power by 1 dBm.
bCheck the analyzer for phase lock error messages.
