In Case of Difficulty
cPress RECALL STATE.
dRepeat “Step 3. Device Verification” on page 5-16.
3If the analyzer still fails the test, check the measurement calibration as follows:
aPress PRESET.
bRecall the calibration by pressing SAVE/RECALL, SELECT DISK, INTERNAL DISK, RE-
TURN.
cUse the front panel knob to highlight the calibration you want to recall and
press RECALL STATE.
dConnect the short to reference test port 1.
ePress SCALE REF, SCALE/DIV, .01, x1.
fCheck that the trace response is 0.00 ±0.05 dB.
gDisconnect the short and connect it to reference test port 2.
hPress MEAS, Refl: E S11 FWD.
iCheck that the trace response is 0.00 ± 0.05 dB.
jIf any of the trace responses are out of the specified limits, repeat the “Mea-
surement Calibration” and “Device Verification” procedures.
