In Case of Difficulty
3If the analyzer still fails the test, check the measurement calibration as follows:
aPress PRESET.
bRecall the calibration by pressing SAVE/RECALL, SELECT DISK, INTERNAL MEMO-
RY, RETURN.
cUse the front panel knob to highlight the calibration you want to recall and
press RECALL STATE.
dConnect the short to reference test port 1.
ePress MEAS, Refl: E S11 FWD.
fPress MENU, TRIGGER MENU, CONTINUOUS.
gPress SCALE REF, AUTO SCALE, SCALE/DIV, .01, x1.
hCheck that the trace response is 0.00 ±0.05 dB.
iDisconnect the short and connect it reference test port 2.
jPress MEAS, Refl: E S22 REV.
kCheck that the trace response is 0.00 ± 0.05 dB.
lIf any of the trace responses are out of the specified limits, repeat the “Mea-
surement Calibration” and “Device Verification” procedures.
