2.4 Wiring Prerequisites

Wiring should be performed by qualified personnel.

Electrical considerations

The recorder is considered “rack and panel mounted equipment” per EN 61010-1, Safety Requirements for ! Electrical Equipment for Measurement, Control, and Laboratory Use, Part 1: General Requirements.

Recorder grounding

PROTECTIVE EARTH (GROUND)

Grounding of this recorder shall be in accordance with national and local electrical codes.

NOISELESS (CLEAN) EARTH (GROUND)

To minimize electrical noise and transients that may adversely affect the recorder, connection of the recorder terminal (located in the rear of the case) to a local earth (ground) using a No. 11 (4 mm2) braided copper conductor is recommended.
