Square Root—PV is the square root of input. For example:

 

 

suppose the linear input range is 0 to 5000 and the input type is 0 to

 

 

5 volts. Then if input = 2.5 V = 50 %,

 

 

 

.50 = .7071= 70.71%

.7071 x 5000 = 3535 = PV
