System action: None.
User response: None.
EQQN024W VSAM LSR BUFFER DELETE FAILED FOR VSAM FILE
DDNAME
RETURN CODE FROM DLVRP
WAS

VRPRC

Explanation: TME 10 OPC could not delete the buffer pool for the file indicated in the message.
System action: None.
Problem determination: Use the VSAM return code to determine the cause of the error. For more information, refer
to the appropriate documentation for the MVS/DFP product installed on this MVS/ESA system.
User response: Use the return code to determine the cause of the error, and take appropriate action.
EQQN025E AN ERROR OCCURRED WHILE READING THE JOB TRACKING LOG DATA SET DURING RESTART
FROM CHECKPOINT. THE DATA SET HAS BEEN TRUNCATED
Explanation: The NMM was reading the job tracking log dataset during restart from checkpoint. An abend
prevented it from processing the entire dataset.
System action: MVS recovery/termination is requested to generate a dump. The NMM tries to complete the restart
by treating the error as an end-of-file on the log dataset.
Problem determination: Review the SYSLOG dataset, the TME 10 OPC message log dataset, and the dump
dataset to determine the cause of the error.
TME 10 OPC administrator response: Review the status of all operations in the current plan. If necessary, set the
correct statuses manually.
System programmer response: Save the message log dataset containing this error message, and the job tracking
log dataset causing the error. Then, contact your IBM representative.
EQQN026W A NEW CURRENT PLAN (NCP) HAS BEEN REJECTED
Explanation: TME 10 OPC has detected that a new current plan (NCP) has been created by a daily plan batch job,
but because TME 10 OPC failed to create a valid backup of the current plan (CP) to be used as input for the batch
job, the NCP is considered bad and will not be used. This message is also issued when the checkpoint dataset
(EQQCKPT) has not been initialized.
System action: TME 10 OPC starts up with the CP that was in use before TME 10 OPC was terminated. If the
EQQCKPT dataset has been reallocated, TME 10 OPC will not permit current plan actions as the old CP cannot
accurately be identified.
Problem determination: Review the message log from the previous TME 10 OPC startup and look for error
messages that could explain why the backup process failed. If the TME 10 OPC backup process failed due to an
open error, the reason could be that another job was using the file.
System programmer response: Ensure that both the CP1 and CP2 data sets are online and available for TME 10
OPC. Rerun the daily plan batch job, to create a new NCP.
If the EQQCKPT dataset has been reallocated specify the JTOPTS keyword CURRPLAN(NEW) option and restart the
TME 10 OPC subsystem.
