OPC STATUS
|Explanation: Displays the status of an OPC subsystem.
|
OPCTYPE
One of the following values:
|CONTROLLER If the subsystem is an OPC controller.
|STANDBY If the subsystem is a stand-by controller.
|TRACKER If the subsystem is an OPC MVS tracker.
|
SUBSYSTEM NAME
The name of the OPC subsystem.
|
OPC STATUS
One of the following values:
|FULLY_OPERATIONAL The subsystem is working correctly.
|PARTIALLY_OPERATIONAL The subsystem has limited functionality; for example, ER is
|not active. Therefore a controller can still schedule jobs, but
|cannot receive their status.
|NOT_OPERATIONAL Some core OPC functionality is not active; for example, a
|controller is not able to execute a plan or to submit a job.
|System action: If the OPC instrumentation for GEM is active, this message is translated into a Monitor Threshold
|event and sent to GEM, which updates the Job Scheduling view properly in the APM console.
|TME 10 OPC administrator response: If the OPC STATUS is not FULLY_OPERATIONAL, one or more of the
|OPC subtasks is inactive or is not working properly. Depending on the inactive tasks, the status can assume the
|values PARTIALLY_OPERATIONAL or NOT_OPERATIONAL. Message EQQZ202I lists the inactive OPC subtasks,
|which you should restart.
|EQQZ202I SUBTASKS:
LIST OF TASKS
INACTIVE
|Explanation: Lists the names of the OPC subtasks that are inactive. This message is always issued in conjunction
|with message EQQZ201I if the OPC status is not FULLY_OPERATIONAL.
|System action: Normal processing continues.
|TME 10 OPC administrator response: Restart the proper OPC subtask.
