12 Functional Descriptions 06.93
12.17.2 Axis converter
These setting data can be altered via @311, @312, @411, @412 @/PLC/RS 232 C (V24).
The status active/inactive of the axis converter is stored in SD 540* bit 0.
Conversion functions are active in AUTOMATIC, MDA and TEACH-IN modes but not with
overstore.
In the following machine data
304* Interpolation parameter name
568* Axis name
548*
550* Axis name of set of planes
552*
the values (axis addresses) must refer to the axes which can be traversed after conversion at
the machine.
Operation is via the conversion display.
12.17.2.2 Programming
The status active on/off can be set and the axis conversion list can be read or written via
@311, 312, 411 and 412.
Interfaces - axis converter
The data can be transmitted via RS 232 C (V.24).
12.17.3 Spindle converter12.17.3.1 Description of functions
This function makes it possible to execute part programs with spindle definitions on a machine
on which these spindle names are either not defined or which have a different designation.
The spindle converter is switched on and off from the PLC. In the same way the spindle
names are defined from the PLC via the NC data channel.
The spindle address letter does not have to be transferred as it is always the same.
A maximum of 3 spindles can be converted simultaneously per NC channel.
Example:
S S4
S1 S2
S2 S5
This list is stored in binary format in the setting data as follows:
SD 600* 1st prog. spindle channel-specific SD 602* 1st real spindle channel-specific
SD 604* 2nd prog. spindle channel-specific SD 606* 2nd real spindle channel-specific
SD 608* 2nd prog. spindle channel-specific SD 610* 2nd real spindle channel-specific
SD 612* Spindle conversion list on/off (1 = on, 0 = off)
