This command is supported in all Digi Connect products.

Purpose

Use the kill command to kill connections. The kill command is associated

 

with the connections displayed by the “who” command.

Required

For Digi Connect products with two or more users, permissions must be set

permissions

to “set permissions kill=execute” to use this command. See

 

"set permissions" on page 157 for details on setting user permissions for

 

commands.

Syntax

kill [range] [connection id]

Options

range

 

A range of connection IDs.

 

connection id

 

An ID for the connection.

Examples

Killing a session on a specific port

 

#> kill 1

 

Killing a session on a range of ports

 

#> kill 1-3
