Privilege Level 0 Commands

This section describes the privilege level 0 commands.

exit

To log out of the system, use the exit command.

exit

Syntax Description

This command has no arguments or keywords.

Example

The following command logs you out of the system:

exit

ping

To send ICMP echo_request packets for diagnosing basic network connectivity, use the ping command.

ping [-ccount] [-iwait] [-spacketsize] [-n] {hostname ip-address}

Syntax Description

 

 

c

Sets the number of echo packets to send.

 

 

count

Number of echo packets to send.

 

 

i

Sets the amount of time to wait between sending each packet.

 

 

wait

Amount of time to wait between sending each packet, in

 

 

 

seconds. The default is 1.
