Privilege Level 15 Commands

Syntax Description

hostname

Hostname of the external device.

ip-address

IP address of the external device.

portnumber

portnumber of the external device.

Example

Enter the following command to telnet to port 9851 of a system with the IP address 209.165.200.224:

telnet 209.165.200.224 9851

telnetenable

To configure Telnet access, use the telnetenable command.

telnetenable {enable [ip-addresses domains] disable status}

Syntax Description

enable

Enables Telnet access to the system.

disable

Disables Telnet access to the system.

status

Displays current access status.

ip-addresses

IP addresses of systems allowed Telnet access. If this

 

argument is used, no other machines will be allowed access.

 

Multiple IP address are allowed.

domains

Domains of systems allowed Telnet access. If this argument

 

is used, machines with domains other than the specified

 

domain will be denied Telnet access. Multiple domains are

 

allowed.

Default

The default is disable.
