Defining Ethertype Filters
Procedure
Step 1 Select Association > Ethertype Filters. The Association: Ethertype Filters
dialog box appears.
Step 2 Using this option:
•Create new filters—See Creating New Ethertype Filters, page 3-14.
•Delete the Filters—See Deleting Ethertype Filters, page3-16.
Using this option you can also:
•Create Special Cases—See Creating Special Cases, page3-16.
•Delete Special Cases—See Deleting Special Cases, page 3-18.
Creating New Ethertype Filters

Step 1 To create and enable protocol filters for the access point ’s Ethernet port, enter the
