Creating an Extracted Ion Chromatogram

5.Type in the Mass Difference and Tolerance.

NOTE: Do not right-click-drag across a peak in the Spectrum window to select the mass difference.

6.Specify the Extraction Mode:

•Accumulative— Creates one extracted ion chromatogram for all mass differences entered and sums intensities

•Individual— Creates one extracted ion chromatogram for each mass difference entered

7.Click OK.

The CNL is displayed in the Chromatogram window (Figure 4-5).
