Eliminate Fit Outlier removes the mass associated with the largest fit error in the Output window, not the mass associated with the largest initial error in the Peaks Matched list.

The 267 Da mass is removed when you

click Eliminate Fit Outliers because it generated the

largest fit error (below).

To clear the entire list, click Delete Entire List.

Plotting 11. To apply the calibration constants to the displayed spectrum, click Plot.

The spectrum is calibrated and displayed with an

MC trace label. The calibration statistics are displayed in the Result tab of the Output window (Figure 5-5).
