6.7.8 Running Macros Automatically

When Opening and Closing Files

 

 

 

You can set the Data Explorer software to automatically run

 

macros you previously created when you open or close a data

 

 

file. For information on creating macros, see Section 6.7.2,

 

Recording a Macro.

 

To set up automatic macros:

 

1. From the Tools menu, select Automatic Macros.

 

The Automatic Macro Setup dialog box (Figure 6-26)is

 

displayed.

2.Select File Open Macro or File Close Macro, as desired, then select the macro to run when you open or close a data file.

3.Click OK.
