Touch-Tone or Rotary Signaling

DESCRIPTION

When the MERLIN II system is installed, it is set to send or generate Touch-

Tone signals. If some of the system’s lines generate rotary pulses, you need

to identify each of those lines to the system,

If you are not sure whether lines are Touch-Tone m rotary, perform this test

at the administrator/attendant console:

1

Make sure the T/P switch is in the center position.
