Interface Configuration Commands
Use the following commands to configure and monitor the interfaces on the Cisco ONS 15530.
cdl defect-indication force hop-endpoint
To configure an interface as an end-of-hop, use the cdl defect-indication force hop-endpoint command.
To disable end-of-hop configuration on an interface, use the no form of this command.
cdl defect-indication force hop-endpoint
no cdl defect-indication force hop-endpoint
Syntax Description This command has no other arguments or keywords.
Defaults Disabled

Usage Guidelines Use this command to configure the interface as a hop end point for inband message channel defect
indications.
Examples The following example shows how to enable hop endpoint on an i nter face.
Switch# configure terminal
Switch(config)# interface waveethernetphy 8/0
Switch(config-if)# cdl defect-indication force hop-endpoint
