Service Utilities
The following is a list of all internal Service Utilities available in the Printers. For instructions on entering the Service Utilities menu, see Entering the Service Utilities Menu on page
1Turn Drive Roller. See 1. Turn Drive Roller on page
The purpose of this Service Utility is to rotate the Drive Roller and the Overdrive in order to clean them.
2Purge Tubes. See 2. Purge Tubes on page
The purpose of this Service Utility is to Prime the Tubes when the Ink Tubes are NOT new and they need to be
3Set SN. See 3. Set SN on page
The purpose of this Service Utility is to set the Serial Number of the Printer.
4Reset Life Counters. See 4. Reset Life Counters on page
The purpose of this Service Utility is to reset the internal life counters. There are two submenus that allow you to:
Reset ALL the counters related to a Preventive Maintenance Kit (PMK).
Reset only the counters related to a specific replaced part.
5Diagnostic Print. See 5. Diagnostic Print on page
The purpose of this Service Utility is to print the Diagnostic Print in order to identify image quality problems.
6Set Time and Date. See 6. Set Date and Time on page
The purpose of this Service Utility is to set the Real Time Clock (RTC) of the Printer.

The purpose of this Service Utility is to enable or disable the

The purpose of this Service Utility is to reset the internal life counter for the Cutter Assembly.

The printer's hard disk is used as a temporary storage area for print jobs. The Disk Wipe utility can completely erase your information from the hard disk to protect it from unauthorized access.
