Chapter 12 HXYLX

3)Secure the robot to the base with the specified bolts and torque. The bolts and tightening torque are shown below.

Bolt

Hex socket-head M8 bolt, strength: 8.8T,

 

length: longer than 45mm (F17), longer than 50mm (F20)

 

 

Tightening torque

230kg-cm to 370kg-cm

 

 

WARNING

Be sure to tighten the bolt to the correct torque. The wrong torque may not only cause robot position errors but also lead to serious accidents.

4)Reattach the upper cover after installing the robot.

Refer to Chapter 12 “5-5 Installing and removing the cover”, and install the cover.
