Signaling Timers and
Protocol
Configuration
Display the current QSAAL signaling protocol timer values and Service
Specific Connection-Oriented Protocol (SSCOP) configuration param eter s
for the specified port. The timer values are displayed in tenths of a
second.
You can update the timer values by changing the timer resolution. For
more information, see “Update Protocol Timer Resolution” on page 18 2.
The configuration parameters can be altered.

SSCOP Timer Description
Poll The maximum time between transmission of a POLL PDU, when
SD or SDP PDUs are queued for transmission or are outstanding
pending acknowledgment.
Keep-Alive Maximum time between transmission of POLL PDUs, when no
SD or SDP PDUs are queued for transmission or are outstanding
pending acknowledgment.
