LMA Access Level The LMA has three levels of access: read access, write access, and administer access. Each level grants different access privileges and is suited to a different type of user. Table 8 lists the privileges granted for each access level.

Logging In When you boot the system, the following login screen appears:

When you log in for the first time, simply press Enter at the Password prompt.

CAUTION: 3Com strongly recommends that you change passwords for security reasons. For more information, see “Example — Changing a Password” on page 45.
