Chapter 2 Avaya C460 CLI Commands

show snmp retries

User level: read-only, read-write, admin.

Use the show snmp retries command to display the number of retries initiated by the C460 Manager when it tries to send SNMP messages to the device.

The syntax for this command is:

show snmp retries

Example:

C460-1>show snmp retries

the SNMP Retries Number is 3

show snmp timeout

User level: read-only, read-write, admin.

Use the show snmp timeout command to display the default SNMP timeout in seconds.

This command is useful for access using the Device Manager.

The syntax for this command is:

show snmp timeout

Example:

C460-1>show snmp timeout

the SNMP Timeout is 2000

show spantree

User level: read-only, read-write, admin.

Use then show spantree command to display spanning-tree information.

The syntax for this command is:

show spantree [<module>[/<port>]]

module

Number of the module. If you do not specify a number, all

(Optional)

modules are shown.

port

Number of the port on the module. If you do not specify a

(Optional)

number, all the ports on the module are shown.

 

You can also specify a range of ports separated by a dash, for

 

example, 4/5-13 for ports 5 to 13 on module 4
