1Open the ‘File’ menu and select ‘Ope n’, or press the ‘Open’ button on the
toolbar.
Ad ialog box is displayed from where you c an choose the correct file.
2Click the ‘Apply’ button.
Thel oaded settings are transferred to the system .
Note:This is only possible if the user is logged onas a Key Operator or System
Administrator.
Left toolbar
Thereare four differentbuttons availableat the left toolbarof the Océ Settings
Editor.Thes e are ‘Jobs’, ‘Printer’, ‘Scanner’ and ‘S ystem’. Each button
provides access to a specific group of settings. By clicking on each of these
buttons, you can get access to the settings related to the selected group.
As hadow highlight is used to indicate which butt on is activated.

Settings area
The settings area consists of two parts: a setting tree and an update area.
Treestructure Most settings are displayed using a tree s tructure. By clicking
on the settings, folders can be opened to show all the en tries or closed to hide
all the entries below these folde rs.
