Status bar
TheOcé Settings Editor has a status bar displaying the followinginformation
(leftto right):
System status (icon for connected or disconnected)
Thefo llowing icons are used:
The Océ Settings Editor is connec ted to a system.
TheOcé Settings Editor is not connected to a system.
System name (‘localhost’ if you are work ing at the controller)
User mode (Repro operator, Key Operator, System Adminis trator or
anonymous)
Viewmode (KO settings o r SA settings).
How to access the Océ Settings Editor
Inorder to perform spe cial KeyOpe rator functions, you must log on to the Océ
SettingsEditor as a Key Operator.
As these functions are restricted to a dedicated Key Operator, a password is
requiredto access them. The service engineer will provide this password to
youuponinstallation.
Note:Only o ne KeyOperat or or System Administrator at a time is authoris ed
tomake modifications. However, theremay b e multipleusers viewing the
settings. When a second user tries to log o n as KeyOpe rator or as System
Administrator,an error message is displaye d.
Start Océ Settings Editor
Youcan start the Océ TDS ap plications on the controller a s well as on a remote
workstation.
