TheOcé TDS400 is available with a roll unit for one or two rolls.
Each of the rolls on the Océ TDS400 can be loaded with print material of a
differentsiz e or type. The size and type of the available med iaa re indicated on
theoperator panel.
Attention:Wh en you load new print material, you must tell the sys tem the
sizeof the material and the type of printm aterial(paper, transparent,or
polyester). Refer to ‘Media type a nd size on the printer’ on page 29.
Thedefinition of the size and type of the new print material is required to:
■Enablethe automatic media switch function to work correctly.
■Support auto format functions.

The paper rolls

Whena roll is emptyduring a print job, a ‘Roll empty’ message is displayed
atthe print er operator panel and on the Océ System Contro l Panel application.
