Instructions for safe use

Donot remove any screws from fixedpanels.
Donot carry-o ut maintenance activities except for thepartsand m aintenance
materialsmentioned in this manual.
Don ot place any liquids on the machine.
Usemaintenancematerials or other materialsfor their original purposeonly.
Keepmaintenance materials away from children.
Donot mix cleaning fluidsor other substances.
Toavoid the risk of introducing hazards,all modifications to Océ equipme nt
arestrictly reservedfor properly qualifiedand trained service technicians.
Connection
Iffor some rea son you havet o movethe m achine yourself, please make sure
that the main power point has the right fuse capa city.See the OcéTDS400
safetydata sheet in this appendix for information about maximum current.
Don ot bridge any mechanical or electrical circuit breaker s.
Don ot use an extension lead to connect the machine.
Thisequipmen t has not been designed for c onnection to an IT power system.
(AnIT power system is a voltage networkin which the neutral wire is not
connectedtoearth).
Forequipment connec ted via a wall socket: locate the machine close to a wall
socket that is easily accessible.
Forequi pment connected via a fixed connection to an electricity grid: the
disconnect device in the fixed connection should be easily accessible.
