5Press key, to enter the ‘cut length’ menu.
6Select a standard paper format with the or key.
7Pressthe ‘confirm’ key.
Adjust the leading or the trailing strip
Toincrease the copy length to accommodatefor a filing strip select a positive
leadingor trailing strip.
Ifyou do not want the filing strip to s howon the c opy,select a negative leading
ort railing strip. The adjustment steps are indicated on the operator pan el,
expressed in millimetres or 0.1 inches.

1Pressthe ‘strip’ key to toggle between ‘leading’ and ‘trailing’ strip.
2Select a positive or negative valuein step so f 10 mm with the or key.
3Select a positive or negative valuein st epso f 1m m with the or key.
Thelength of the selected stripis shown in the display.If the adjustment differs
fromthe default setting, the indication lights.
Attention:If you make the strip larger than the strip on the or iginal, you can
loseinformation.
