Howtostartupandshutdownthecontroller
Takethe following acti ons to start up the controller:
Startup the Océ controller
1Turnon the controller and the screen.
Afterthe initial system test of the controller the applications, Océ Queue
Manager, Océ System Control Panel, Océ Settings Editor and Océ Scan
Managerare automatically started and the Océ TDS400 isready for operation.
Note:The Oc é Queue Manager and the O cé System Control Panel applications
arevisible on thes creen;however the Océ Settings Editor is minimised,to save
screenes tate.
Takethe following actions to shut down the controller:
Shutdown the Océ controller
1Go to the Océ System Control Panel application.
2Select the ‘Shutdown’ option from the ‘System’ m enu.
3Confirmshut downby cl icking on the ‘Yes’button in the ‘ Shut down’ window.
Thesystem automaticallyperforms the shutdownprocedure for thecontroller.
Finally,the Windows XP ‘Shut downC omputer’ window appears, which
informs you that you can turn off your computer.
Note:You can now restart the controllerby pressing the ‘Restart’button.
4Turnoff your computerand display.
Note:The Oc é TDS400 has a sleep mode. The sleep m ode powers off almost
all the power supplies after a certain time of inactivity.
