Stop a copy job
Press the ‘cancel’ key to interrupt the original transport.

1Pressthe ‘cancel’ key.
The original transport is stopped.
2Themessa ge ‘Remove original’, ‘Press cancel’ a ppears on the scanner display.
3Open the scanner cover and remove the original.
4Close the cover.
5Press the ‘cancel’ key. The message disappears on the scanner display.
Set synchro or standard cut
Ins ynchro cut mode, the copy is cut at the len gth of the original. The length
dependson t he zoom factor and the leading or tra iling strip setting. The default
is Synchro cut mode.
Instandard c ut mode, the copy is cut at a st andard format length (portrait). You
selectthe length of the standard format with the‘browse’ keys.
Example: select 36 inches, means select a format of 36 inc hes width and a
corresponding 48 inches length. Independent of th e roll width, the material is
cutatalengthof48inches.
Whenyou select standardcut, the system always cutsat the selected length.If
theorigi nal length is shorter or longer than theselected lengt h, the cut is made
atthe selected length.

4Select ‘cut length’ with the or key.
5Press key,to enter the ‘cut lengt h’ menu.
6Select ‘on’ or ‘off’ with the or key.
7Pressthe ‘confirm’ key.
