Menu structure
Onthe Océ TDS400 printer operatorpanel, you can do a number of actions.
These actions include:
■Mediasettings (material and size).
■Print info (configuration report, menu card and demo print).
■Configuration (connectivity issues).
■System(clear set memory and diagnosticmode).

Media type and size on the printer

Oneof the features of the Océ TDS400 printer is the automatic media change
function. This function allows the printer to take ano ther roll of the same
format and copy material when the roll becom es empty when you print. You
mustconfigure this settingin the Océ Settings Editor (see ‘Océ Power Logic®:
TheS ettings Editor’ on page 99).
Ifyou activate this function the machine automatically switches to the other
roll,if the used one becomes empty. The switch only occurs if the kind of
mediaand the width of the material is the same for both rolls.
Note:The Oc é TDS400 Printer can not identify the copy material type and
format.Fill the media and indicate the type andthe size as described in
Chapter, ‘Media’ on page 152.

Ify ou insert a new roll with another material or with a different width, you
haveto program t he new roll specifications. Refer to ‘List ofavailable material
types and sizes’ on page 214.
Note:The machines switches automatically to the other roll if the used roll
becomesempty, if you activate this function in the Océ Settings Editor.
