Note:Thes es ettings can only be saved in Key Operator or System
Administratormode.
Apply When you click on the ‘Apply’butt on, the changes you have made
becomeeffective. Initially,this button is disabled. It is enabledafter the first
setting is changed and disabled again aft er the apply action is performed or
afteran undo action.
Undo Thisbutton restores the settings to the state itwas in the last time the
settingswere applied (and notback to the factory default). Initially,the ‘Undo’
button isd isabled. This button is enabled the moment the first setting is
changed. It is disabled after an Apply action is performed or after an undo
action
Save settings to file
1Openthe ‘File’ menu and select ‘Save as’,o rpress the ‘Save as’ button on the
toolbar.
Younow have two possibilities :
Ifthe client is a local client, a dialogis displayedand the user can supply a
filena me. The file iss avedin a prede fined directory on the system.
Ifthe client is a remote client, a dialogbox is displayed and the user can
supplya directory and a file name.
Note:All se ttings in the current view mode are saved; not only th e ones that
arecurrently visible.

Default.kos/Default.sas
Thesefiles contain the factorydefault settingsfor the Key Operator and
System Administrator, respectively, and can not be changed.
Backup.kos/Backup.sas
Thesefiles contain aprevious version of thesettings for the KeyOperator
and System Administrator, respectively (before the las t Apply).
Current.kos/Current.sas
These files contain the version of the settings for the Key Operator and
SystemAdministrator after the last Apply.
Whenan Appl yi s performed, first the contents of the current settings is copi ed
tothe backup file. There are two versions of this file,one for KO settings and
onefor SA settings. These filesare always stored on the system.
